  1. Copyright question for you guys. I was thinking of (loosely) basing a script on one of Isaac Asimov's short stories which is, of course, copyrighted. Anyway I can use it? I'm not planning on stelling or anything, probably just put it on YouTube.

Does it matter if I'm not trying to make any money off it?

  4. If at first you don't succeed, make another Green Lantern movie, because WHY WOULD YOU TRY AN ORIGINAL CONCEPT INSTEAD?

  5. Can anyone suggest a script or film that's set in San Francisco? Besides Basic Instinct. Thank you!

Any specific genre? The Game is set in San Francisco I believe. So is Mrs. Doubtfire and Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

  8. I'm a huge Fincher fan, but Gone Girl didn't blow me away. Performances were good, especially Pike and Perry. I'm not sure if it was the photography but it came off a little dull.

Jackman can deadlift ~485lbs, he's not skipping leg day.

I felt like the whole wasn't greater than the sum of its parts. His shot composition was great as usual and I was never bored either.

I really miss Fincher shooting on film, ever since he switched to RED cameras his photography has felt really cold.

  14. NIGHTCRAWLER was fantastic. Gyllenhaal knocks it out of the park. Beautifully shot. Every bit as good as the screenplay. Please support this movie.
