Tell you what I am loving on the BBC at the moment though... The Bridge. The first season was amazing and this one looks to be great too.

I'm still enjoying the show but this is my least favourite series so far.

I'm on the fence about series 3 so far but if you see it as a show about two guys and their relationship who happen to occasionally solve crimes rather than a crime show, I think the episodes fare better.

My original opinion of episode 1 was that it lacked focus and was a bit too self-referential. My criticisms for the second was it went for comedy and (personally) I didn't find it that funny. I also didn't really care for the mystery part of that episode (it was good b...

Bruhl's accent is eerily good in Rush. Saw it at a chat with Peter Morgan - he ignored the three act structure and just wrote it like a race with one person ahead in life, then the other, etc.

Dial M for Murder is mostly in just a room or two. Rear Window too, obviously.

I second Disappearance of Alice Creed and Buried. Also, if you can find an original draft of Wrecked - the Adrien Brody film. That was entirely in a crashed car... They changed it for the final film.

They're on the Amazon Instant or Lovefilm sights. You don't need an account. I've only watched Zombieland and thought it was mildly amusing. I imagine it'll get a series as it'll have the most people watching it.

But figured they may think "Oh, no long term benefits for us here" or something.

Do assistants generally want to be writers or agents? I have a similar interview next week but was wondering what to say if asked as I'd prefer to be a writer than an agent.

I liked From NY to Florida but didn't love it. Loved Draft Day. I'm from the UK and know next to nothing about the NFL but it was brilliant.

Killing Them Softly is a great film with possibly the best closing lines of any movie out this year.

When trying to enter the contest as an early bird member, it says $44 but when you add it to the cart, it comes up in Paypal as $58.50...

Loved it in the cinema. Not quite sure on the ending but that's the only complaint.
