  1. The next great TV show everyone will be talking about: HBO's CRIME. You didn't hear it from me. :)

  2. It's hard to find a more dangerously misguided director on the planet than Oliver Stone. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/oliver-stone-planning-doc-russian-747366

  3. Can anyone play douchebag as well as Bill Paxton?

  4. Anyone else here who can give a rat's ass about yet more over-sized, over-hyped Marvel movies?

  5. Variety gives Interstellar an unqualified rave and 'instant classic' status, comparing it The Wizard Of Oz and 2001. Here we go.

  6. I'm a huge Fincher fan, but Gone Girl didn't blow me away. Performances were good, especially Pike and Perry. I'm not sure if it was the photography but it came off a little dull.

  10. Just watched the trailer for Tusk. I thought it was pretty interesting. I've always been a big Kevin Smith fan Clerks, Dogma, etc. I've like the change of direction he's taken in recent years. I liked Red State. Melissa Leo and Parks where outstanding in that film. But he changed direction again, going to back to comedy elements, but with a twist. Since Eric took my #1 choice (#9?), I'll say it's a tie between Butch Cassidy and Jaws. True 'comfort' movies.

  20. Just saw the best pilot I have ever seen. Wow. Wow. Lifetime achievement type work. Shame it'll never air. Amazing.

  21. We all live a dying dream

  22. While it's certainly not for everybody, I found myself absolutely blown away by Blue is the Warmest Color. The storytelling and dialogue felt raw and unfiltered and the actresses were both great. Highly recommend.
