  5. The Brownie Wise story that just got optioned with Sandra Bullock in talks to start--I am so bummed. I had been in talks with the author to co-write the screenplay, even had a producer involved but they couldn't seal the deal, and now it's gone. ARRGHHH!!!

      Indeed, the people who understand screenwriting is a craft, and as Mike said hone the skills, success will come, just as with anything else in which you "do the work," as Pressfield says. Write on.

  19. As great as so much television is these days, and as addictively as I tune in to some of it, I tend not to re-watch it. Yet I do re-watch movies. I'm curious if others have similar tendencies. And thoughts on why that is (or isn't). Assuming this is the case for others, is it something as simple as production value? Or does it go deeper? Does it have to do with the story mechanics?
