  1. Universal has their "For Your Consideration" screenplay page up:

  2. Just saw "Jaws" for the first time (!) at a local theater and now I'm reading the script. It's interesting to see what was changed in the final shoot - you can really see what they were trying to accomplish in a scene by reading what they tried first (this is actually at least the third draft I know of, probably more like the 100th). http://www.dailyscript.com/scripts/Jaws.txt

  3. My cat's brought in four dead mice and a dead bird this weekend. Nature's screaming for justice.

  5. I love it when a system update deauthorizes my screenwriting software and then, in the process of contacting tech support to reauthorize the software, the tech dude chides me for not knowing a random system update would have deauthorized my software. Uh, no, I am not going to launch your software just to deauthorize it prior to every system update, nor is it my responsibility to do so.

  6. What are good screenplays to read that have fight scenes? Besides the Bourne franchise, what are examples of movies with great action/fight scenes?

  7. Anyone know about the untitled action comedy pitch by Scott Rosenberg that just sold to Disney? Seven figures deal.

  8. Just read Snow White and the Huntsman (draft that sold). Mucho interesante. Didn't look too familiar in the trailer. How much was changed?

  9. I got a job offer from Amazon Studios. Debating.

  10. Suggested scripts to read or movies to watch with “Strong female leads”?

  11. Just pumped out an amazing summary of my first ten pages. If only I knew where to go next.

  12. the new "Prometheus" trailer looks breathtaking.

  13. Can anyone recommend a good mockumentary script? I know alot of these are improv but I still want to read a few... Thanks

  14. So a friend of mine received the Midnight in Paris script (Foreign Press member), and after much begging by me (relentlessly so) realized Sony Classics made it virtually impossible to copy/scan. Every page (front and back - yep, front AND back) had their PROPERTY OF stamped across every page. Oh well. I tried. Hope someone else has better luck than I. :)

  15. Just found out a script i spent the last 6 months working on sounds a lot like something that sold in January. Pacing the room...
