this is interesting. i heard in an interview with producer joel silver that effects shot cost $80,000, say for speed racer. multiply that by 2,000 fx shots and there's your budget. the numbers sound a little fuzzy but it gives you an idea how money will just explode from the studios when working on the bigger ones.

they've never been dogged before, so they're just idiots. plain and simple. film digital no substantially better look. but apparently people have falcon vision. i'm thinking they picked his submission cuz it was the worst. the kinda see what a nobody can do with a little leash experiment. either that or everybodies heart is in the right place, but they don't have the goods. i don't know which makes me more uncomfortable.

So what exactly was satisfying about the Mr. Robot finale?? The whole staff needs to watch The West Wing or Good Wife or Dexter to understand what makes for a compelling cliffhanger. Sorry, the promise of the pilot wholly unfulfilled. Thoughts?
