my advice for writing female protagonists is approach it like you would a man. think about what the sex does in reality and then, learn their metaphors. but exercise caution with those because it's tacky if you do it all the time. you don't want people to be able to predict how your characters will respond.

no i didn't. the script was a huge letdown for me. i thought maybe he'd go through a re-write and clean up the material, but it's pretty much the same thing. basterds is my favorite script, but this wasn't on the same level by comparison and that disappoints me.

i'll take that, but this internet thing has to be bigger for kids growing up today than it was ten fifteen years ago, because i remember the previews for the prequels from tv with yoda being cg and that was a big thing, and so to skip over tv advertising completely (as is my case) i would think definitely has to say a lot about today's cyber culture and what young people and the people who make blockbusters think of itas.

i do live in the usa and mostly watch comedy central, tbs, fx, and nat geo. i just thought it was the oddest thing for a movie that scale to not have any trailers. i guess it's just me. i saw a trailer for the forest and was like that won't come out for another month, and then i was like hold it, stars wars comes out next week and i haven't seen anything about it on tv. i was starting to think star wars was too cool for tv and that the internet has now become the best way to adver...
