i had both padmapper and westside rentals because a friend let me use their account. Padmapper/craiglist is just fine.

  2. Trance was sumptiously shot, but story wise, was a huge fucking mess.

  3. Going through a writing dry spell. Almost been a month. Feeling kind of crappy about it. Anyone else ever have a long period of no writing?

YES. I just now got out of a 7, yes 7 MONTH dry spell. I moved from Seattle to LA and have spent the last 7 months adjusting. Broke the hiatus with a draft of the 1st issue of a comic I'm doing with a friend. And now I know why I've been so unhappy the last 7 months, it's because I wasn't writing. I'm happy now. Seriously. You need to write. I'm currently outlining next spec to write. And of course maybe you just need to be depressed for x months to realize that you ne...

  5. The TB writers group is now 20 members strong. There's a meet and greet chat on Wed night at 5pm central and then another on Friday during the day (time pending) so if you can't make one hopefully you can make the other one. Drop by, say hello, get to know your fellow TB members.

  6. Question: I prefer printing out scripts and reading them in a variety of places. How do YOU read scripts - print copy, computer screen or Kindle-type tablet? The Kindle Paperwhite sounds intriquing, but it's just too small for my desired experience. Is there a simple, 8 X 11 PDF reader out there?

and yes, the normal kindle is not large enough for scripts. it can be done but the reading experience is not so great.

Kindle DX. I love it. Light and good size for scripts.

  8. My TDKR speculation in Member Reviews is lonely, guys. Let's get some fanboy theories going!

  9. Maybe late to the party but really enjoyed Blood Mountain. Stokes is such an elegant writer.

  12. thinks "The Dark Knight Rises" has the potential to top "The Dark Knight" and never thought he'd utter these words.

  15. Watched Breaking Dawn last night. I thought it was slow and quite boring, sadly. And I can see why the reviews have been quite negative. It's a shame as the First was quite decent, the second was poor, Eclipse was the best(and the only that interested me was because of David Slades involvement, being a big fan of Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night. Anyone else seen it and what ya think? Hopefully part 2 will be a big improvement.

Cyber Hater: Does the shame I have over viewing the films add any amount to the character you have attributed to me? Things happen in this world that are hard to explain. Having seen the Twilight films is one of those things for me... ;)

Don't mind me. I'm just a hater. But tbh, I have seen them all except this last one...

none of them did I find to be decent. Just various levels of bad.
