Stranded -- really?

I wanted to enjoy Stranded but I had to put it down before I finished.

A combination of the writing and the characters turned me off.

But due your recommend I'll give it one more shot.

the next 1st draft I do swear to God is going to be scenario wise sound. the only thing I want to worry about in a first rewrite is how to make those scenarios even better and perhaps some re ordering. but this total reworking of scenes thing.../wrist

seriously no joke. I was in a class and our goal was to finish a script in a month and a half. so yeah I had an outline but didn't spend too much time on it. The instructor was very touchy feely and encouraged deviation from the outline how ever we felt. Although I'm sure this is sound advice in plenty of cases, I think I'm officially one of those people that just needs to hammer down and outline, be in love with that outline, and then execute.

good luck! I'm currently in a rewrite stage and unfortunately my rough draft was so shitty that I have to do like an entire rework of most of the scenarios. really frustrating. Think I'm gonna spend more time in the outline phase next time because this shit stresses me out it's so bad...

I loved the first half of Flight 459 and agree that the Second half is kinda meh. Borderline corny and arbitrary.
