Hypothetically, if one were hoping to move to LA next year...where can I find information on which place is best? I don't like to party, I like to drive myself everywhere, but would still like to be close enough to do meetings and the like. Any advice/favorite articles?

Hey Dan - I used to live in Echo Park for 5 years. Loved it, got my fill, and convenient if you work/drive to the Burbank based studios. I now live in Culver City and love it. You don't pay Santa Monica prices, but you're 3 miles from the ocean, and Fox is right nearby. Plus Hollywood is easy to get to.
