Need a comedy spec to read. Tired of reading sci-fi. I mean, I'm not, because I love sci-fi, but I need to read more comedies. Any to recommend?
-
While it's certainly not for everybody, I found myself absolutely blown away by Blue is the Warmest Color. The storytelling and dialogue felt raw and unfiltered and the actresses were both great. Highly recommend.

What are some good examples of movies/screenplays with two or three separate storylines that don't necessarily intersect?
-
Arriaga is one of my favourite writers, depends how you define 'intersect' really. Amores Perros' second storyline zones off into its own territory, but arguably, it's started at the incident. While in Babel, it takes us a while to see how the threads are connected, but Babel's the closest you might get with Arriaga, although I haven't seen his films past 2006.

My first spec since LIFE COPY is getting ready to go out soon. I'm trying to remember to breathe--

Wow, Snowpiercer really blew me away. One of the best sci-fi movies I've seen in years.
-
I'm actually talking about the film, haven't read the script yet. Is it similar? I despised the ending for many reasons. I think Weinstein also might've had a problem with the final act, it's hard to discuss it without spoilers but I felt the choice at the end was idiotic and selfish and literally made no sense.

I'm looking for great chemistry romantic meet up scenes between characters not comedy- ala the Adjustment Bureau scene in the bathroom with Damon and Emily Blunt. Any suggestions?
-
Looking for someone to give me feedback for an hour long pilot I wrote with a partner. Don't want to put it in the WIP yet, but need an outside opinion.

Congrats on the TB Rec CB! All the best going forward - can't wait to see where this goes!

Even if you're not a fan of biopics, this one looks like it has a story worth telling

Looking to watch/read dark comedies in the vein of Snatch, Smash and Grab, Filth, In Bruges etc for my next project... Any suggestions, guys and gals? Especially interested in specs.

I did a rewrite for a script in Final Draft and my buddy doesn't have the program. Is there anything I can export it to so he can edit??

This biopic trend is really wearing me out.

Any recs for scripts/films that have kick ass third act set pieces--preferably sci fi thriller or action. Thanks!

Query letters sent. If Henchman comes across your desk today, give it a chance. I promise it'll be worth your time.
