    I'm starting to sound like a TBS flack, but I'm really loving Search Party. This + People of Earth are right in my wheelhouse.

      Agreed! Both have sharp writing, great casts, and feel wholly original. (BTW, my BF loathes GIRLS, but SEARCH PARTY is something he's totally in to.)

      We barely managed it here in Chicago. I'm a life-long Cubbies fan and I'm thinking that after that game, I might never need to see another baseball game ever again. Nothing will ever top that.

    Finally watched Room on Amazon Prime. Great story, wonderful acting. On the script side, master class in set ups and payoffs (the bad tooth, the long hair, "i pick for both of us", the shed)

    So I ended up winning best comedy feature at Austin. I'm still trying to process the whole experience, but I can't say enough good things about the festival!

    So what exactly was satisfying about the Mr. Robot finale?? The whole staff needs to watch The West Wing or Good Wife or Dexter to understand what makes for a compelling cliffhanger. Sorry, the promise of the pilot wholly unfulfilled. Thoughts?

      Felt too much like a watered down Fight Club. But overall, I still enjoyed the season, especially the acting talent. And the music was outstanding.

      Love the setting and the mood. I'd watch Colin Farrell fold laundry. I think it was clunky with some of the character introductions, but will get better with a few more episodes.
