  1. I would just like an opinion on some, or a title, for the script I've been working on since I got my coverage back 3 months ago. The reader described it as Taken meets The Departed. It was called Black Sambas. Here we go: The Supremacy Project, Project Supremacy, Deeds of Deception, When Corruption was King, Bullets of the Dishonored, Once We Were Enemie to name a few. I will upload the 1st 50 pages tomaz. Would like people's thoughts. Must have done something right for the reader to X...

  2. So thoughts about the Suicide Squad sizzle trailer that "leaked" yesterday? Honestly, I loved it! Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn *MIGHT* be an inspired casting choice that going to make her a star it seems. I can't wait to see it when it comes out next year!

I'm not sure in Joker or Harley. I love them in the general comic world, but I'm sure Harley Quinn is really Harley Quinn. I not a fan of the way she looks, but not do I think she should have a the red and black outfit. The Arkham games got her look right but in different way. Joker, think Jared Leto will be a splendid Joker, but his look is just all wrong with the tattoos, etc, its as the J on his face is trying to tell us who he is. We know that. The bright hair as oppose to the gru...

  5. Just watched the trailer for Tusk. I thought it was pretty interesting. I've always been a big Kevin Smith fan Clerks, Dogma, etc. I've like the change of direction he's taken in recent years. I liked Red State. Melissa Leo and Parks where outstanding in that film. But he changed direction again, going to back to comedy elements, but with a twist. Judging by trailer and story Tusk sounds an unusual film. Plus its good to see Justin going back to his Jeepers Creepers days and doing...

I used to work at Blockbusters until 3 years ago. Admittedly, I never bothered to watch the Human Centipede. I did see the film on TV once. Bought the second but never bothered to watch it. One film I remember we had one copy of but were ordered very quickly to pull it from the shelf in no time, was the Serbian Film, one person we worked with watched it said don't watch, its just the sickest thing you'd ever see. So no one did. I watch the uncut trailer that was pretty screwed in itself.

  7. What did everyone think of the Sin City: A Dame to Kill for trailer? I wasn't sure about the music. The trailer itself seemed okay, but its early days, and I have have high expectations for it considering how much I loved the first one. Did Miller write the script himself or was RR involved? I know Monaghan did a draft. After the Spirit, I'd worry if It was just Miller writing.

I saw the first one three times at the cinema. In 2008 when I started getting interested in screenwriting I went and bought the making of book, mainly because it had full script included all the scenes that were cut from the final versions. I quite like the scenes will Marv's mom's house the one in kadies with rrs mate who he cast to play weevil. Also it it me or was that Christopher Lloyd answering the door to JGL in the sin city 2 trailer. It looked just like him?

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it, especially with Gareth Edwards at the Helm. I Remember, back in August 2011 when I met him at Empire's Big Screen. I chatted to him for about 10 mins and asked about Godzilla and where he was with at the time and he told me it was being written as we speak and he was really excited about the project. He also gave some nice advice on writing my script and recommended a couple of books to look at. He's deco one of the most down to earth dudes...

I'm a big James Gunn and marvel fan, so I've been waiting for this and it didn't disappoint. Really fun trailer. Like the way rocket has been captured. Funny thing, Groot only says I am Groot. So diesel isn't going to get many lines. Obviously he did motion capture so he is properly Groot.

I didn't watch it in IMAX as there is not cinema near me like that. I watched the regular 3D, and it was awful. One of the worst films I have seen in the last 12 months. Easy.

  14. Well, that was misleading. On the main menu for Xbox live it has a picture of Taylor Kitsch and says Savages. Though it might be an early pre-release which Xbox has done for Resident Evil 5, Looper and Amazing Spider-man as Savages isn't out of DVD/Blu-ray till feb in the UK, but no, click the pic and it comes up with the Hoffman and Linney film from 2008.

Never seen as it just didn't appeal to me. But I wanted to see the Oliver Stone's Savages and not the other one. That's the only real issue.Just disappointed I cant see it for, like, another month.

  15. Just something crazy that I never would've seen coming. A guy who i've got on my facebook, who i went to school with, and ten years ago went to a Limp Bizkit gig with, is a now director, special effects guy and co-founder of The Brewery Visual effects company. And is currently working on Welcome To The Punch, and has work on A Mighty Heart and The Killer Inside Me as well as couple of other well known smaller films. He also an uncredited mention for working on Slumdog Millionaire. Gue...

To answer both. No, I haven't talked to him in a long time. I just a pic on facebook, and was like,oh my god, that's Neil Marshall sitting at that table with him and others.Yep, I went to see Limp Bizkit in London as like most of my mates back, was a big fan. I just generally love my music.

  16. I loved Skyfall, it is without doubt up there with my fav films of the year. It is to me, the best Craig one yet. loved Royale, but did get a tiny bit bored at times. love Goldeneye, but Skyfall's better. Love the intro and Adele's song is a fantastic remenisant of old Bond . Bardem's Silva is the best baddie of the last 20 yrs and his nod to Jaws is superb(maybe since Christopher Lee in MWTGG). The films looks stunning. Heres hoping, just like Bond, Mendes will be back

  17. Off to see to Skyfall today. Cannot wait! Am suprised though that it sounds so long, given I bought Tickets for 11am(British Time) and it finishes 13:50pm. But from what i've heard and read, sounds like I'm going to enjoy every minute. :)

Hated Quatum, loved Casino Royale, although I did get bored at points with so much time spent in the Casino. And I love, Goldeneye, and it's better than that. The intro is the best i can recall, Adele's song recalls the beautiful songs from the early years of Bond. Bardem's ref to Jaws is a nice touch and he's the best villian the the series i quite some time(possibly sin...

  19. Getting a little concerned that I haven't recieved an email from TB coverage to confirm they got my script. Sent it Sunday 2am Uk time. Saturday 7pm Los Angeles time i think. Is it because it's the weekend that I may not have heard anything? has anyone else had this problem?

couldn't agree more with you DD. Looks brilliant. Love the cheeky touch with the cuffs. And, okay, Solace was rubbush, but anyone who says Casino Royale was bad in anyway, doesn't know anything about Bond movies. Period. Craig is up there with Connery and Brosnan as the tops Bonds. Dalton was not bad. Lazenby and Moore were rubbish.
