You realize Nolan is just toying with us? Every review of TDKR uses words like "EPIC, MONSTROUS, INCREDIBLY AMBITIOUS, HUGE, SPECTACLE. I was worried that I'd seen too much footage, but it's clear he's holding back. We have no idea what he has in store for us. Can't believe only a few more days until Thursday night midnight, baby!!!

Was so pleased to hear about the developements at Comic-Con. Ant-Man movies finally on the way, with some early awesome-sounding (test) footage. Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier. Am about the propsect on winter soldier, as i am huge fan of the graphic novel, But the possibility of Bucky being frozen for modern times is odd. Also, added this link the French Taken 2 trailer, which shows more a plot point, not totally suggest in the 1st trailer. That Kim is having to save her parents.

Man, just finished reading some selected script pages from Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Walls. It has to be one of the most fucked-up scripts pieces i've read in some time. It's just brutal! And the electrical "sick stick" Mindy uses, is crazy. And some of the hero names are quite silly.
-
@craig, I need to check on something first before can possible sent you the page. And no, I don't have the entire script, just a few scenes where you a sense of the rivalry between a girl named Brook and her mean girl types and Mindy. Who discoveres Dave ID as Kick-Ass. And what I'm guessing is the final battle between the Superheroes and Super-villains, including Hitgirl vs Mother Russia.

Wow, Moonrise Kingdom bored me to tears. I can't be the only one, right?

Hey guys, I've just uploaded the first 35 pages of my script, Bullets Of The Dishonored. I am finishing up the rest ready for TB coverage in the next couple of days. Previously titled - The Rise and Fall Of Harry Valentine. I would like as much feedback as possible. Thoses who have read the previous draft, will hopefully have noticed the new change to the story.
-
is it a bad thing that my script is now currently only a 78 pages. at some point today i will be uploading the first 30 pages of my script, Bullets of the dishonored in a bid to gather you guys thoughts before i send the whole thing off for coverage.

Well it was 91 pages before i sent it off for coverage after doing what's been asked, reducing the length of descriptions, restructuring it and removing lines of dialogue that simply weren't needed. Its been reduced dramatically. About 5 pages of dialogue have been removed from the end scene in The office simply because i was making the characters waffle on.

Trailer for Jack Reacher looks good. Doesn't look anything like what I remember from the screenplay for One Shot...? (granted, it's been a while since I read that one).

Been watching the brilliant 90-minute Ghost Rider 2 making of. Also watched the deleted scenes. The first one Blaze was in a church. the comes out trying to contain the rider on his knees in the street. A figure, revealed to be a priest is standing over him. and was surprised to see him being played by Noel Clarke. WTF?

Thought Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was really, really good. Not only from the action POV, but from the political POV of the character, too. Bekmambetov hasn't let me down yet. And just watched the trailer for Dread. Karl Urban looks so Bad-ass as the man himself. The look of Dread and Mega City looks very faithful to the comic. Also, you can't ignore that has a look and feel identical to this year's The Raid.

PROMETHEUS - Stunning to look at, extremely engaging in parts, fantastic Fassbender, but ultimately muddled and pointless. Shame. Wanted it to be phenomenal.
-
Yes, I watched it last saturday. I really quite, enjoyed it. And Fassbender was excellent. while I wasn't going in to it thinking Aliens, I hoping it would at least have some suspense and Alien-like tense atmosphere of never knowing what's around the next corner. But it all felt a little predictable. Still a good film though. It is a beautifully made-to-look-at film.

Just read Snow White and the Huntsman (draft that sold). Mucho interesante. Didn't look too familiar in the trailer. How much was changed?
-
I was really pleased to hear that Prometheus is going to be a Smashing 15 here in the UK and R-rated in the US. Means no cuts or edits. It will be viewed the way Ridley intended it to be.

Gaaaaaaaaah, COUNTERPOINT just hit the market! I'll see you all in four days when I finally sober up.

Just realized Wettest County in the World was renamed Lawless (yeah, I'm a bit slow)... what the hell? Another example of taking a memorable name and turning it into generic mush.
-
Yeah, i was a little caught off a guard at first when i saw the trailer a few weeks. I was like, Tom Hardy doing a film named Lawless. News to me, then realised it was Wettest Country. Strange as well, empire had the trailer via yahoo, but apple had it as an exclusive. But the next day it had vanished from apple trailers.

Got the Art of Avengers from amazon today. Quite impressed, only left Arizona on 2nd and was here in the UK on my door at half 12. Currently reading the excerpts from the script. I love the way Joss Whedon writes, especially the fight battle. The artwork is stunning. But if I'm honest, the main reason this appealed to me was because it had several pieces of the script and seemed almost the only way to read it.

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE! SO GOOD!

- New 'Dark Knight Rises' trailer. Looking like classic Nolan. Restrained, deliberate, awesome!

The Avengers! WOW! Just WOW! What a brilliant, sometimes comedic and entertaining film! god bless you Joss Whedon, you are the man! Will defo be watching it again.

Well, of course everyone rightly has there own opinion. But my only quibbles where it was to long and the Aliens were a bland piece of the movie and seemed like they were just thrown in. But my main concern was can the right amount of so many main characters(which wasn't thought possible). And Whedon did, he gave each one enough screen time. And finally the Hulk was done justice after previous efforts: one a complete piece of trash and one so-so film. As long as character are portrayed tr...

two weeks until "Avengers" finally arrives. The positive reviews are encouraging.

Has anyone read the first 10 of "Nathan Decker"? Could Fogelman have crammed in more exposition? He's really putting the "tell" in "show not tell." I wonder if selling this as a pitch lessened his motivation or something. Very unlike Fogelman.

Wahoo, my script is finally finished! Everything has been checked and is present and correct. And the final amount is 92 pages. And Iam very happy with it. This is the first time I thought its done, what do I do now?
