Was reading the box office report for the weekend and almost did a spit take when I saw Paramount was claiming JOE cost $50mil.

Pitch Black and Chron of Riddick made $168 mil total WORLDWIDE and yet they're making a third movie? Do dvd sets of trilogies really do that much business? What's the business plan here?

Got another writing gig! Of course it has nothing to do with film..I've been hired to extract test questions from medical textbooks for graduate level students. I am speechless. My hard drive on my laptop (where I write) fried today and I lost everything I had been writing for the last 6 months. My heart is crushed. Kids, please for the love of God, go back up your files right now.

Damn this flu has knocked me the f out....

After several recommendations to watch A Simple Plan, I got a group together and watched it. 4 of the 5 people HATED it. Said they don't like movies that make you think. This is your audience talking. I liked it though...

Back from 6 weeks in Nepal, Tibet & India. Trying to get my head back into writing... so many ideas, not enough time to write them all

I got my first paid writing gig!!! Of course, it's for a novelty company coming up with funny slogans, but hell, it's MONEY and it's for WRITING!
