    While it's certainly not for everybody, I found myself absolutely blown away by Blue is the Warmest Color. The storytelling and dialogue felt raw and unfiltered and the actresses were both great. Highly recommend.

      I really didn't like the movie - take away the fact that they were lesbians and nobody would be talking about it. But great acting

      @Farmer, I agree that the story is nothing new. I honestly had no idea there was any controversy until I started looking up reviews.

       

      With that said, the acting really does propel the movie. It's been a while since a performance has arrested me as much as this one has.

       

      --SPOILERS--

       

      That scene in the restaurant at the end when they finally meet up after 3 years, seeing that Adele still hasn't been able to move on. It was painfully beautiful.
