    Anyone else think the latest episode of Mad Men was lazy and clunky? Probably my least favorite of the entire series run, and I'm a huge fan.

      I like the episode. I did however feel like the MLK-ness of it felt like they rushed the writing. We all knew the episode was coming. It kind of felt like they were in the writers room saying "OK, it's the MLK episode, let's get this over with..."

    Ever heard this line before in regards to a handgun? "There's twelve in the clip and one in the throat." Raylan said it on Justified, and I've NEVER heard that "throat" reference before, wonder if it comes from Elmore Leonard or a wholly original term from the show writers?

    I've come to the conclusion that attempting to find and DL evry script from every BL from '05 on is a GIANT WASTE OF TIME. Plus, I'm lazy. So there's that too.

      FYI, I was responding to "why would anyone go to the movies anymore?" For the record I have NOT seen GI Joe, but I will be seeing films like Into Darkness, Superman, etc, on the big screen for sure.

    Going through a writing dry spell. Almost been a month. Feeling kind of crappy about it. Anyone else ever have a long period of no writing?

      Been 6 months for me. Moved, had comp issues, new job, no software, etc. Luckily my bro picked up the slack. And I've been outlining and doing story notes like mad. But, FD is on sale at Writers Store, so my drought will end this weekend! Can't wait!

      I don't think anyone ever hated on flashbacks, its just that you see them done terribly and pointlessly a lot. Same with opening a script with a flash forward. If it serves no purpose, axe it.

    I don't know what people are stocking up on more - assault weapons or screenplays. Both could black market items by the end of 2013. What I think is we're in a dead news cycle. Where's Tiger Woods to wreck his SUV when we need him...

      It's already happening. Simply Scripts was shut down. Scriptshadow was shut down. A few other lesser known sites as well. It looks like folks are setting their sites on TB next, now that they're done with Scriptshadow. We will see what happens...

    If you haven't read "Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" yet, do yourself a favor and read it. It's a winner. My favorite by far out of both the Black and Hit lists. So there's that. :)
