Also I'll add that the actual filming and performances make the movie just as much as his scripts do. And his scripts are kinda hard to get through sometimes. A lot of description, pretty long, some camera directions. Not really the best way to digest Tarantino.
the best way to digest tarantino is as a white belt, which i did, but now i'm kind of more worldly as it were and less impressed by him and more impressed by others. and to your first point, i'm just going off the fyc draft which is longer. but yeah me, i'm not buying this one. sell sell sell.
and for the record, you can tell with qt's un-innovative style i.e., no cgi. that only a pimp's degree in blocking can tell what this movie looks like.
