    Finally made it into the WGA and looking for any advice or suggestions from other members...any words of wisdom to pass on? What events should I go to?! What do you wish you had known about when you got in? Thank you!

      Here's what I'll say - what I didn't do when I got in. Definitely go to orientation and get a mentor, become part of a peer group.

       

      And after that - go to any and everything you're interested in that you're able to. You never know which event will teach you something invaluable, or where you'll make friends who will become important down the line. Don't be a douchey schmoozer - but don't be afraid to appropriately network. Congrats.
