      Shame the Salinger doc wasn't better. I left knowing more about J.D. but that only took about 30 mins. Overcrowded with actors who added nothing to the piece.

    Why has the new Star Trek not beat the first one's opening weekend, even with 3D and Imax premiums and an 87% critics rating? It had the best trailer of the year. (No spoilers!)

      Perhaps if it wasn't such a cheap bastardization of a much better film? Perhaps if it was more that just a fast-paced popcorn film with a Star Trek label slapped on the tin? Perhaps if Lindelof kept his grubby paws off the script?
