okay. i see what you're saying. i was thinking you meant how it faired in the market, what it led to kinda. i mean those things in a meeting play their part. it's hard to deny they aren't candy. but i'm sure they represented themselves as competent in the right areas so i think that had to do with it, too!

That is curious. I remember when it was being buzzed about around town, a lot of that buzz was in fact built on the ad being something real. Of course, the execution of the script far outweighs the add, or buzz over it, but I'm positive the ad perked ears, the pitch perked reads, and the script perked buyers.

It was def one of my favorite movies of the last couple years. I was just trying to imagine if I could even attempt something like that without a hook like "inspired by a real ad".
