      Maybe they're butthurt that they're not getting the same level of praise/domestic box office returns that the first Star Trek did.

      They're acutely aware of the criticism - if they didn't think it was true they wouldn't be responding as they are.

      And how does a tie in game even remotely affect a movie? The logic there is bizarre. But at least now I know why the movie's logic was so off base.
