    Just read "Saving Private Ryan" -- fuck me that script is BRILLIANT... watching the movie now!

      Really? I must have read a much earlier draft. Didn't like the draft I read at all. And I absolutely love the movie.

      Agree w/ CH... I'm old enough that I read the script before the movie came out and said, damn... Another oscar locked up for Hanks. Then I saw the movie and said damn... How'd he blow that? Not that he was bad. He just didn't make the guy in the script come alive.
