    This is 40: Agree it's too long, but the big problem for me is that it's just NOT FUNNY. Sorry, but Apatow's style is just played out. If this exact same movie had come out in 2007, I would have been laughing uproariously. You gotta know when to move on.

      Good point. My laughs were few and far between as well. The style is definitely kinda stale. Entire scenes felt like he said, "Go out and make jokes, guys!" And it got old fast in this one.

      i just saw 5 year engagement and actually liked it more than i thought I would... theyre sort of hit and miss and this point
