@jinkazama that's pure fantasy. Even if you don't believe that most people in the legal system want the correct answer (not my experience), the system is anything BUT fast.
Pretty solid ending, cannot for the life of me understand the point of Chandra kissing him though.
Also, now that the series was over, what was the point of Stone's foot issues? Was it meant to be a metaphor for him dodging the real court work and always trying to take the quick and easy way?
I agree they dropped the ball with Chandra. She went from being a young up and coming lawyer proving herself, to doing stupid things. Unsure about the eczema storyline. Your theory is as good as any.
