  1. I need to know if anyone's seen a structural paradigm for a one hour TV drama? Like a Blake Snyder beat sheet but for TV. I can't find one, could use help. Thanks!

      Screw the paradigms, read the scripts for and then watch your favorite shows. Make your own breakdowns for those shows (since each is different) and then take what you've learned and use it for your own scripts.

      I agree 100% with jiblings. also, your show should have its own pulse and flow. tell a great story that sets up questions that need 100 stories to answer.

      Any sort of paradigm that exists for the bulk of tv is one built by how each network sells and places advertising. One CBS crime show is pretty much identical to another CBS crime show.
