      There's just such a level of derivative cash-grab to the film that is evident in the trailer that, I'm sorry, it's insulting to me. Based on a True Story...seriously? Who but a 13 year-old actually believes that? And the producers of Insidious, Saw, Paranormal, etc. just happen to find these true stories twice a year to coincide with release schedules, amazing.

      spec writer, it's based on the Warrens, who were a married couple who investigated the paranormal. their book THE DEMONOLOGISTS is terrifying. I hear the movie's amazingly scary.

      I heard that, so I wondered why the trailer doesn't focus on the investigators but on this cliche family talking about their haunted house filled with ghost children? Seriously, guys, get a new horror movie device.
