  1. Writing Partner and I wrote a Rom-Com, need some feedback. Logline: A once happy couple on the verge of divorce find they can't split until it's decided who gets to keep the dog they both love; and they'll do anything to keep him.

      Just curious, but is there a narrative time-constraint for the story? Or does it just take place over weeks and unfold at its own pace? I ask this, not to sound rude or have a harsh tone (I assure you that's the last thing my tone is), but from the logline I don't get a sense of the narrative urgency/framing device or importance of the dog. Are these two dog breeders, with the 'lead dog' being an incredibly valuable commodity in some contest or something? Is that the framework...

      ...is that the framework? That the film is about a comically estranged couple who reassess their life/relationship/career over the course of a [weekend/week/some important event concerning the dog]? Or is this more in the vein of something like 'Marley & Me'(haven't seen it)?
