    Finished a first draft last night. Time to give it a week off and hit it hard next week!

      How long did it take you to write your first draft? Did you have it completely outlined before you started?

      I had the idea in October, outlined for the rest of that month and wrote it November - yesterday. It's tough having a 6:30-3:30 job at the same time, but I'll say this much. I had 85% of it outlined, and I only say 15% because I thought of a better All Hope is Lost/Finale. I've definitely learned recently my outlines need to be WAY LONGER and WAY MORE DETAILED.

      Christ. I wish I could write that quickly. Even with outlines it becomes a drawn out ordeal!
