And then that happened. Remember people, always, always, ALWAYS BACK-UP YOUR WORK. Computers have a tendency to die. Mine did. Writing is fun.

The one thing I did lose, and am most depressed about, was a script I had just started and was going to post the first 10 here for feedback and whatnot. Now, that ain't happenin'. It is still fresh in my grey matter, so that'll help. Other than that, I only lost what i didn't back-up since January. Lessons are fun to learn. I'm going on a weekly back-up now, PLUS, I'm sending everything I write to my email for now on, on a daily basis.

Congrats to Andrew Parker for the "Worth the Read" today from Carson @ SS.
-
Damn nice having Mike De Luca back!
-
Damn shame if that's the last "On The Slate"... Mike, it's something I look forward to every week. What ever it is you're doing, or what ever is up, I'm sorry to see you go. Hopefully not though, right? Right. But thanks, man. It's been a rare and true honor to have been a reader. Here's to you Mike.

For all you Irish today (that means all of you)... "Here’s to a long life and a merry one. A quick death and an easy one. A pretty girl and an honest one. A cold pint and another one!"

Happy Holidays to all here at TB and to the TB staff. Here's to a new prolific and breakthrough year for all. Peace!

Hi folks... may I ask that for now on whenever you post a script in the File Exchange, even/and especially if it's an ISO fill, that you add a logline just like K. Ryans (and pretty much everyone else) does. It would be greatly appreciated, because I'm getting tired of downloading the script(s) only to find out it's a piece of crap unworthy of even using at the bottom of a bird cage. Like I said, I would greatly appreciate it (and I'm sure a lot of others too). Thank you.

I don't know about any of you, but THIS looks incredible. Definitely a MUST WATCH. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/02/13/awake-first-7-minutes_n_1274043.html?1329173922

I just read The Fault in our Stars (the screenplay). And all I have to say is WOW. It's not often a script brings emotions out of me, but this one definitely did. A must read, if you haven't yet.

I just want to say thank you to Ted and K.Ryan and the whole Color Squad from TB and each and every one of you here. You all make coming to this place on a daily basis a worthwhile affair. So thanks. That is all. Carry on.
-
I just want to wish everyone here the happiest, merriest, safest and sanest of holidays. So, Happy Festivus to all and to all an impressive feat of strength!
-
I know this has been said umpteen million times, but... Kristen Ryans is the end all be all here at TB. MVP, baby, yeah! Thank you Kristen, for everything, always.

I've come to the conclusion that attempting to find and DL evry script from every BL from '05 on is a GIANT WASTE OF TIME. Plus, I'm lazy. So there's that too.

If you haven't read "Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" yet, do yourself a favor and read it. It's a winner. My favorite by far out of both the Black and Hit lists. So there's that.

It's ovah! Cawt 'im! Wicked hodcaw!

Just an FYI, people... after I win the lottery toonight I'll be immediately going into film funding/producing mode. Just thought I'd get that out there.
-
Just want to wish everyone here a healthy, somewhat sane, but very safe New Years eve. And here's a toast and a wish for a prosperous and prolific year to all!
-
Maybe it's just me, but, I think "George" is a perfect vehicle (and award possibility) for Jack Nicholson. Just a thought.

Caught Cuckoo's Nest a few weeks ago and wish I hadn't waited so long to see it again. So brilliant. Why don't they make them like that anymore? Risk aversion seems to be the persistent trend. I was joking with some friends the other night that somewhere right now there's an executive wondering aloud if the characters in The Fault in our Stars can be vampires.

Much thanks to Kristen and Ted for the clickity-clicking. All the TB Colors for, well, being you. And a special congrats to Mr. Dollar for making both lists (equally of import). And to each and every member here, may the coming year find you all safe, sane-ish, and as near to your dreams as you can be.
