      If you're in the US you can parody at will. The First Amendment is on your side. It's also Bond which already has a long line of parodies and imitators.

      Seconding what sanguine said (and I am an attorney but this is NOT legal advice so do whatever the hell you want), parodies are protected under fair use and it's pretty rare that a copyright holder would go after a parody with some caveats (the porn "parodies" get sued all the time but I wouldn't label those true parodies). One thing that cannot be parodied, however is music, which is why frequently in parodies the theme songs are no where close to the original. If you see a...

      It's along the lines of Casino Royale (1967) where it's Bond's inept nephew that turns out to be the only one that can save his retired famous uncle (who's now in his late 70s) who was pulled out of retirement on a secret mission only to get captured. The title, though, may be dicey getting it past the lawyers... "The Family Bond". Out of all that, does anyone (sbbn) see anything that might be problematic?
