    The New Girl returned after a long absence and proved its the best new comedy. Admittedly, that's a low hurdle given the dreck that is Whitney and Two Broke Girls.

      Actually, Enlightened is pretty damn good, too. Not a really a straight comedy, but very strong.

      I think the series is pretty funny in general, although the characters could be finessed to make them less irritating.
