    I found Inherent Vice extremely underwhelming.

      It was hard to get through. It was like a really shit version of THE BIG LEBOWSKI.

      Slower than snail gunk. I couldn't get past the first half hour. It almost seems to me that Paul is trying to out-weird Wes. It's not working. At least wes has a story to tell.

      I actually saw it in the theater last night.

       

      Stringer - It was exactly like a shitty boring version of Big Lebowski.

       

      Crack - Wes shoots beautiful images, but his characters are hollow and one dimensional. I was equally underwhelmed by Grand Budapest.
