    hey people in LA - anyone know how I can get some help moving a couple things into my new place in silver lake? where's a good place to call for hired help? also, if anyone wants to volunteer to help me instead, i'll buy you a big sandwich and beer. i only have a bed and TV that need moving i think.

      Sounds like the set up to a horror movie to me; "yeah, I only have that TV and that bed over there... and that cage in the corner - by the way, you mind getting in there so I can WHAM!"

      If you have a Home Depot or a U-Haul or another moving company near you there are usually day laborers out front.
