What are some good examples of movies/screenplays with two or three separate storylines that don't necessarily intersect?

Babel, and Everything You've Always Wanted to Know About Sex... first came to mind, and as said, theme is the ultimate thread. Should anything with distinct stories even be a film, or is it best as one-act plays, sketch comedy, etc.
