    LOVING new external monitor / keyboard. SO much better than writing on a laptop!

      What computer system are you using? I've considered replacing the laptop because of posture. A friend of mine has a standing desk and works that way, which I've tried and like. What do you recommend?

      Yup. Posture thing for me too. WAY more productive sitting at a desk with a big monitor and keyboard. I have a MacBook. Maybe do what I did and add an external monitor, mouse & keyboard? You can get a decent sized LCD for $100, mouse $10, keyboard $10-$20. For ~ $140 you'll have TWO screens and AND keep your laptop instead of replacing it with a desktop. Just make sure your laptop supports having an external monitor!
