    Variety gives Interstellar an unqualified rave and 'instant classic' status, comparing it The Wizard Of Oz and 2001. Here we go.

      I'm not sure I've ever been more excited for a movie. Nolan is the best there is.

      I've since read a few of those reviews, McGeek. There does seem to be a major polarization in the reactions. Historically, I find Variety to be the most conistently reliable, objective POV, but I'll have to wait and see whose opinion I share.
