Works in Progress Experiment... I'm gonna try some fun writing sprint exercises in W.I.P. section this weekend. Will go from Idea->Title->Outline->Completed 1st Draft Pilot. Follow along and watch me fail (or succeed).

Damn - two years in a row my little horror spec finished in the top 10-15% of Nicholl's but missed the quarterfinal cut. Guess it's time for another rewrite then onto the next one!

My psycho-thriller has just been optioned. It's titled: "The Cuckoo's Plight”. Jim Sheridan who directed "My Left Foot" – from which Daniel Day Lewis won an academy award - is onboard as an executive producer.

FADE OUT!!! First draft of HELL HOLE complete. Logline: Kept under wraps, but said to be a horror-thriller franchise in the vein of THE GRUDGE and THE CORE.

How often is it that a trailer is made out of a 3 - 4 min. film? Rhetorical question. Just was fun to see that one was made out of the short I wrote ("Love"): http://vimeo.com/54597715 "Love" makes its big screen debut at the Edinburgh Short Film Festival in a week or so (June 14th at The Granary).

I highly recommend the Steve Kessler documentary "Paul Williams: Still Alive” ... awesome. Paul Williams wrote some of the biggest hits in the 70s, appeared on Carson, was in Planet of the Apes... amazing story. Funny and heartwarming
