  1. Just watched the first episode of "Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G." I'm in for the rest. Anyone else?

The People vs OJ Simpson was one of my favorites mini-series. I knew everything about the OJ case before watching; yet found it very compelling. I know very little about the Biggie/Tupac investigations; so I'm looking forward to the rest of this series as it unfolds.

Hey Jibs! Likewise. All is good, man.

  2. Anyone else hungover from watching 10 hours of Bloodline this past weekend?

I actually still really like the 2nd season even though THR panned it. Great drama

I'm reviewing it for TB, I'm on ep 8. Liked the first 4 episodes, but after Lowry's death the life has been sucked out of ep 5 and 6, and it isn't until John's wife confronts him that things pick up again for me. Not sure on this one yet. First season was stellar though.

Sorry, you were all acting like you've watched more than an episode or two.

  3. I saw John Carney's "Sing Street" this weekend. I really liked it. If you dug his prior films, Once and Begin Again, you'll like this one as well. The guy sure knows how to use music to tell a story.

I thought it was lovely as well.

Me too! A sweet story centering around a teenager that's not Disney Channel saccharine or fake. Rare.

Right now I'm also recommending Green Room and The Lobster, if anyone's looking for interesting movies to watch.

  4. I thought the Dalton Trumbo screenplay was amazing. The trailer looks great: http://www.tracking-board.com/trumbo-trailer-bryan-cranston-helen-mirren-louis-c-k/

Cranston is such a shape shifter, his mannerisms/posture etc seem to utterly change for every role.

      Silicon Valley good stuff!

  7. Am I the only one here who has fallen down into the black hole known as the SERIAL PODCAST?

    1. Mysterian

nope... you are not alone. I find it incredibly hard to restrain myself from looking up details online. I'm looking forward to the 4th for the newest episode.

Nope. Amazing podcast. I worry about the outcome for all involved, though. Can't end well for anyone.

    3. CD2010

Yep. And I'd say for anyone considering listening that eps 1 & 2 are kind of the setup (exposition) and after that the story really begins. At least that's my impression (caveat: not fully caught up.)
