    Pitch Black and Chron of Riddick made $168 mil total WORLDWIDE and yet they're making a third movie? Do dvd sets of trilogies really do that much business? What's the business plan here?

      For one, they could take that money and make 3 original sci-fi films from specs, rather than yet another sequel that won't even make back its budget.

      LOVED Pitch Black. HATED Chronicles. So basically I concur with Dan also. Pitch Black didn't need a sequel or prequel. They're tarnishing it.
