Black List announced tomorrow. They've moved it up a day from the 14th - the day before Rogue One opens. I guess they figured no one would be interested in the new Star Wars movie. Will we be allowed to see the scripts? Already I've gotten... heat over distributing O2. How do they expect to generate... heat if they won't let people see the scripts?

JASON BOURNE is terrific! May be the best of the quadrilogy, I think because there's more emotional content here. Being two hours long, about 33% longer than the first three, helps as well. It doesn't feel quite as rushed as - say - the last film, ULTIMATUM. Anyway, try and see it if you're a fan.

Saw Independence Day 2 this morning. Good, enjoyable, not spectacular, not as good as the original but it was never going to be. What's really important to note is the diversity of the cast, and to an extent the setting. Men, women, black, Chinese, British, French. It's something we're all going to have think about as the box office changes.

Senior Year = Kickin' It Old Skool. Took me a while to remember but, yeah, switch breakdancing for cheerleading and switch genders. BOOM! Mid-six figures. Not cynical, just pointing out that Hollywood does more recycling than Greenpeace.
