Watched Breaking Dawn last night. I thought it was slow and quite boring, sadly. And I can see why the reviews have been quite negative. It's a shame as the First was quite decent, the second was poor, Eclipse was the best(and the only that interested me was because of David Slades involvement, being a big fan of Hard Candy and 30 Days of Night. Anyone else seen it and what ya think? Hopefully part 2 will be a big improvement.

Well, I've never read the books and never will. They're supposed to be even worse than the films because of the perspective their told. Plus, quite vamp-flick fan. Its not i paid to watch them(expect breaking dawn) anyway as when the first two came out i was working at a cinema so i get in free. And I only watched Eclipse when it came out on Blu-ray, which by that time, i'd quit the cinema and was working in a video store. Plus there's jack crap on at the mo there i am. Seen I...

Can't wait to go and watch Dark Knight Rises prologue at IMAX London. As Nolan has said, it'll give you an idea for the tone the rest of the movie will follow and serve as the introduction to Bane, and more than likely how he gets injured and needs the gas from the mask to survive, which connects into two cannisters on his back. I am not bothered, and although it makes sense, am tiny bit surprised the story picks up 8 Years later.

4 Weekends in a row of going to the Cinema. 30 Minutes or Less, the brilliant Drive, last week Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy(probably the best film i've seen this year with outstanding performance from Gary Oldman) and the hilarious Johnny English 2: Reborn. Its been a good month

Had a great couple of days in London at Empire's Big Screen. The never before seen footage from Total Recall, Warhorse, Coriolanus and John Carter was very impressive. As was Puss in Boots, the 8-min Spider-man reel and the 12-mins from Real Steel. Plus, Got Roland Emmerich to sign my Anonymous poster.Had a chat with Gareth Edwards and gave me some one-on-one advice. What a cool dude he is.

just seen msn uk's snipet of footage from dark knight rises. Man, that brawl between Batman and Bane, and his henchmen against the Gotham police on the city hall steps looks so crazy. And at least you get a look at Gordon-Levitt in cop outfit + Miranda Tate

Can't wait to attend Empire's big screen. Next month, can't wait to see footage from Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Don't Afraid of the Dark, The Amazing Spider-man,Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Pirates! adventure with Scientists and Total Recall, Drive and Haywire on the Sat, with the chance to Meet Mark Millar and the Cowboys and Aliens full preview. Followed on the Sunday by MI: Ghost Protocal, Puss In Boot, Tintin, PA 3, Pixar's Brave, The Muppets and Real Steel, Cut be...

Cut between a Q&A with Gareth Edward's and ending with European Premiere of Conan with the man himself followed by UK Premiere of Fright Night hosted by David Tennant. THIS WILL BE AWESOME as it's my first time going to something like this.

Really liked the trailer for The Amazing Spider-man. Looks to have alot more gritty realism to it and darker tone. And thinks its nice that they set-up why he ends up with his Aunt and Uncle. But have to say they spoil it at the end with the First Person perspective. looks like the've tried to mimic a combo of Mirror's Edge and Kick-Ass with total CGI.

What did anyone think of the Dark Knight Rises announcement trailer

Hasmap, good point, I hadn't thought of that -- his voice sounded normal, like Bruce Wayne, but they're talking about Batman and Gordon doesn't know he's Batman. So Gordon find out? And if Gordon's on a respirator and Bane has a gas mask on his face, does this mean there will be another neurotoxin released on Gotham City? I'd rather they not repeat that device as The Scarecrow used it in Batman Begins.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lazarus_Pit + The Ultimate Revenge + Creation of Bane + Bruce Wayne falling for Ms. Kyle + Bruce falling for Ra's Daughter + Ms. Kyle betraying Bruce to Ra's Al Ghul = Some pretty awesome shit ... just sayin'

The new Tintin trailer looks fantastic and a lot of fun. Thompson, where are you? I'm already downstairs. Do try to keep up. Also, can't wait to watch Deathly Hallows part 2 and see the 1:33 trailer for The Dark Knight Rises and Sherlock Holmes: Game Of Shadows

Does anyone know if the script for G.I. Joe 2 is around? I've Spotted a couple of casting audition sides on an agency website. But what its only about 6 pages of the script.
-
I have uploaded an updated version of my script, Die Today to Live Tomorrow. I am completely re-writing the last 15 pages at the moment. But there is still 93 pages to sink your teeth into and digest. I posted it as am looking for more feedback on things generally.
-
I've just uploaded a 32 page sample of the script I'm working on called Die Today To Live Tomorrow. If you guys can have a gander and tell me your thoughts, I would be most grateful. This part of my film influenced by many things, but in particular the hospital shootout scenes from Hard Boiled and the Matrix..

The First pic of Tom Hardy as Bane is awesome. He looks so bulked and bad-ass. And the mask, looks so cool.

I just saw on ebay that a picture of the Saw 7 title page has it as Evolution 7. Anyone know the reason behind it?
-
Just a guess... But Evolution is the original production company for Saw. Since then, they created Twisted Pictures to differentiate the management side (Evolution) from the production side (Twisted). Again -- just a guess, but the cover for Saw 5 was labeled "Evolution II" and the cover for Saw 6 was "Evolution III" and now Saw 7 reads "Evolution IV" Clearly somewhere along the way they just decided not to have the real title on the cover.

Just got back from watching Scream 4. And I have to say, i liked it alot, but wanted to like it a little bit more. Yes, it was abit cliched, and yes, while pretty good, the finale could've done a few fresh ideas. But overall, a step up from the poorly written Kruger 3rd film. With Williamson back, it has someone that can actually deliver a good script.

Hey does anyone know if script for Bone Deep(later known as Takers is around? And also, are you aloud to post any scripts or are is it just ones requested or is it limited?
-
I see the Straw Dogs script is in the file exchnge. But is actually going with that, cos it must be nearly two years since they filmed it. Has it been shelved permently?
-
Right, I've added the first 34 pages(of a 110 pages) of my script Die Today to Live Tomorrow into the file exchange. Now, please bare in mind that this is not the finished article and i am polishing it up as we speak. But I would greatly appreciate any feedback on the story, the content, etc. and what you guy's think of it.

If i upload a partial segment of a script i've benen working on. Would some give me some feedback on what they think? Its not quite finished, but will be in a day or so. I'm obviously not going to put the whole thing up. Just to give people a basic outlay: Its about a LA Detective who comes to home to find his wife and child have been murdered. And when his partner is found dead, he blamed for the deaths. So He teams up with the Daughter of one of LA's most notorious mobsters and ...
