4 Weekends in a row of going to the Cinema. 30 Minutes or Less, the brilliant Drive, last week Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy(probably the best film i've seen this year with outstanding performance from Gary Oldman) and the hilarious Johnny English 2: Reborn. Its been a good month

Apparently a minute-long teaser trailer for The Man of Steel will be shown before the Dark Knight Rises. Will wait with intrigue to see what they've done. Although, there's only going to be a quick glimpse of Henry Cavill in costume as Superman.

I'm a little tired of reboots. I thought they should have let Singer build on what he started. Not every story or superhero needs to be "darker" and "edgier". And pretty soon they will be "rebooting" every year with new talent, thinking that's all they have to do and audiences will just back again and again like lemmings.

Been watching the brilliant 90-minute Ghost Rider 2 making of. Also watched the deleted scenes. The first one Blaze was in a church. the comes out trying to contain the rider on his knees in the street. A figure, revealed to be a priest is standing over him. and was surprised to see him being played by Noel Clarke. WTF?

Can't wait to go and watch Dark Knight Rises prologue at IMAX London. As Nolan has said, it'll give you an idea for the tone the rest of the movie will follow and serve as the introduction to Bane, and more than likely how he gets injured and needs the gas from the mask to survive, which connects into two cannisters on his back. I am not bothered, and although it makes sense, am tiny bit surprised the story picks up 8 Years later.

Cut between a Q&A with Gareth Edward's and ending with European Premiere of Conan with the man himself followed by UK Premiere of Fright Night hosted by David Tennant. THIS WILL BE AWESOME as it's my first time going to something like this.

Did anyone notice at the end of the Dark Knight Rises trailer Batman and Selina(Catwoman) appear to trying to evade two homing missiles.

Does anyone know if the script for G.I. Joe 2 is around? I've Spotted a couple of casting audition sides on an agency website. But what its only about 6 pages of the script.
-
Does anyone know if the script for the Avenger's is out there? I've seen about three pages. Not totally looking to spoil it for myself, really. Just wondered if it was out there!

Finally decided to renew my membership and it feels nice to be back. Just noticed my last post was in Feb. Quick question has the Full Avengers script ever surfaced or the Skyfall one? I've got Art of the Avengers which has several pages of the script and the book Bond on-set - filming Skyfall which also has about 10 pages of the shooting script. Love how the train scene and the Skyscraper fight scene was written.

Found out the other day that a guy who every now-and-then(not that often though) comes in , is unit director, second, i think, comes into the video store I work in at weekend. Apparently he worked on Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and told me and my manager he has just completed working on Keanu Reeves' new film 47 Ronin

Found out yesterday that one of mates has a mate who had wrote and directed a film called Travellers shown at Cannes in the last couple of years, which had a cameo from Charlie Boorman. He thinks I Should let him take a look at my script. What do you think? The same mate, who is also doing a Graphic novel himself, is going to do some artwork and stills for me.

G.I. Joe 2 Being pushed back to march next year in the states, and god knows when here in the UK is ridiculous. just so they can add 3d, which hasn't been that successful if im honest. And basing the fact James Cameron did for titanic is silly. even more so when it cost 18 mill and 2 yrs of development. on another note, send my script off to tracking board for full coverage. wish me luck.

Getting a little concerned that I haven't recieved an email from TB coverage to confirm they got my script. Sent it Sunday 2am Uk time. Saturday 7pm Los Angeles time i think. Is it because it's the weekend that I may not have heard anything? has anyone else had this problem?

Got my script coverage back a couples days ago. Been working on advised areas most of the day. I just want to get it done asap. Went mental, when Final draft decided it wanted to die on me. Annoyed I had to re-write the previous 20 minutes work again

Got the Art of Avengers from amazon today. Quite impressed, only left Arizona on 2nd and was here in the UK on my door at half 12. Currently reading the excerpts from the script. I love the way Joss Whedon writes, especially the fight battle. The artwork is stunning. But if I'm honest, the main reason this appealed to me was because it had several pieces of the script and seemed almost the only way to read it.
-
I wasn't going to get it because I bought the Captain America one last year. But when I read on Forbidden Planet's website that it had excerpts from the script, like the Kick-Ass one did, I knew I had to get it soley for that.Marvel don't usually allow that kind of thing. Guess it was the Whedon factor. You get a small chunk, not much, mainly segments from the final battle, including "better clench up Legolas" and "And Hulk...Smash" scenes. But somethings better th...

Had a great couple of days in London at Empire's Big Screen. The never before seen footage from Total Recall, Warhorse, Coriolanus and John Carter was very impressive. As was Puss in Boots, the 8-min Spider-man reel and the 12-mins from Real Steel. Plus, Got Roland Emmerich to sign my Anonymous poster.Had a chat with Gareth Edwards and gave me some one-on-one advice. What a cool dude he is.

Hey does anyone know if script for Bone Deep(later known as Takers is around? And also, are you aloud to post any scripts or are is it just ones requested or is it limited?

Hey guys, I've just uploaded the first 35 pages of my script, Bullets Of The Dishonored. I am finishing up the rest ready for TB coverage in the next couple of days. Previously titled - The Rise and Fall Of Harry Valentine. I would like as much feedback as possible. Thoses who have read the previous draft, will hopefully have noticed the new change to the story.
-
Hopefully off to see Sicario today. Man, I've been really looking foward to it. Pretty sure, I won't be disappointed.
-
I have uploaded an updated version of my script, Die Today to Live Tomorrow. I am completely re-writing the last 15 pages at the moment. But there is still 93 pages to sink your teeth into and digest. I posted it as am looking for more feedback on things generally.

I just saw on ebay that a picture of the Saw 7 title page has it as Evolution 7. Anyone know the reason behind it?
-
Just a guess... But Evolution is the original production company for Saw. Since then, they created Twisted Pictures to differentiate the management side (Evolution) from the production side (Twisted). Again -- just a guess, but the cover for Saw 5 was labeled "Evolution II" and the cover for Saw 6 was "Evolution III" and now Saw 7 reads "Evolution IV" Clearly somewhere along the way they just decided not to have the real title on the cover.
