I don't know John Gary, but what he's saying resonates with me and is entirely consistent with what I see in the business.

I went to school with Amanda, the author, and took several screenwriting classes with her, and I'm amazed her blog continues to get as much attention as it does.

She was a pretty mediocre writer from what I remember, and obviously started the site to peddle her services as a reader. Nothing wrong with wanting to make a living off of your degree, but take her "advice" with a grain of salt. She's not a professional writer by any stretch of the imagination, and, unles...
