How do you write a backwards script like Memento or Peppermint Candy? Do you write it in reverse order and then just reorder the scenes, or try and write it backwards to begin with?

I am speechless. My hard drive on my laptop (where I write) fried today and I lost everything I had been writing for the last 6 months. My heart is crushed. Kids, please for the love of God, go back up your files right now.

Dudes, seriously watch The Americans tonight and tell me if I'm wrong that it has huge potential.

Well, that was misleading. On the main menu for Xbox live it has a picture of Taylor Kitsch and says Savages. Though it might be an early pre-release which Xbox has done for Resident Evil 5, Looper and Amazing Spider-man as Savages isn't out of DVD/Blu-ray till feb in the UK, but no, click the pic and it comes up with the Hoffman and Linney film from 2008.

Question: If one was writing a farcical take on the Bond franchise, what are the dangers (read: legal) one would expect? And it is purely farcical. Thanks.

If you haven't read "Devil and the Deep Blue Sea" yet, do yourself a favor and read it. It's a winner. My favorite by far out of both the Black and Hit lists. So there's that.

Has anyone read any good comedies from The Black List yet? I've read several BL scripts, but would like to check out a good comedy next, if anyone has a recommendation.

Been dumped thanks to my girlfriend's mother saying "It's him or us [the parents]." In the space of a few weeks I've gone from "Not right for you." to Worse Than Hitler. Noidea how. What scripts should I read to cheer me up?

Glenn Mazzara's out on The Walking Dead, anyone know the deets? He asked for Matt Weiner money and they told him to hit the road? That would be ironic, considering that TWD will make 10 times the profit that Mad Men will over the next 20 years.
