SPOILER -- walking out and I heard a woman say "i wish they showed him reunited with the daughter at the end." Oye. Yeah, then cut to Alex reunited with his mom. And a meadow. And a flower. And the American flag...
The ending was perfecto. Perfect spot to cut.
