"The Bridge" from FX is fantastic. Seen the first three episodes, good stuff.

105 pages written in 5 days after 3 months of outlining my new script. I'm back baby. And it feels good.

My psycho-thriller has just been optioned. It's titled: "The Cuckoo's Plight”. Jim Sheridan who directed "My Left Foot" – from which Daniel Day Lewis won an academy award - is onboard as an executive producer.

A chunk of Nolan's sets got washed away in the Canadian flooding.

I don't think the general viewing public will jump for 50 let alone 150, George Lucas... http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Steven-Spielberg-George-Lucas-Predict-Movie-Industry-Implosion-38049.html

FADE OUT!!! First draft of HELL HOLE complete. Logline: Kept under wraps, but said to be a horror-thriller franchise in the vein of THE GRUDGE and THE CORE.

It all makes sense now! Jessica Fletcher was a sociopath who killed and framed others in order to have elaborate murders to write about and prolong her career as America's preeminent murder/mystery writer =)

Why has the new Star Trek not beat the first one's opening weekend, even with 3D and Imax premiums and an 87% critics rating? It had the best trailer of the year. (No spoilers!)

As I dig myself deeper and deeper into this 15 page hole, I prayed for inspiration and god delivered in the form of deadline and Soderbergh: http://www.deadline.com/2013/04/steven-soderbergh-state-of-cinema-address/

Um... does the logline for Dodgeball 2 REALLY have to be kept under wraps?

Last day at work before embarking warily on a career as a full-time writer. Tomorrow is, literally, the first day of the rest of my life.

The Incredible Burt Wonderstone was pretty funny. I give it a B; not bad, considering the state of comedy films these days. But if it came out 10 years ago, would it have killed at the b.o.? It wanted to be Anchorman, but there just was no getting around that there's no urgency or relevance in the subject matter. Thoughts?

Maybe it's just me, but, I think "George" is a perfect vehicle (and award possibility) for Jack Nicholson. Just a thought.

Wow, I really underestimated the love for Life of Pi, probably because it's one of the few Oscar movies I haven't seen. Reactions to the Oscars, guys?

Is Gale Ann Hurd really querying the Google Group list?

Short being reviewed on Scriptshadow tomorrow. Good, bad or ugly . . . Should be interesting.

Well, that was misleading. On the main menu for Xbox live it has a picture of Taylor Kitsch and says Savages. Though it might be an early pre-release which Xbox has done for Resident Evil 5, Looper and Amazing Spider-man as Savages isn't out of DVD/Blu-ray till feb in the UK, but no, click the pic and it comes up with the Hoffman and Linney film from 2008.

After several recommendations to watch A Simple Plan, I got a group together and watched it. 4 of the 5 people HATED it. Said they don't like movies that make you think. This is your audience talking. I liked it though...
