    I'm freaking out. I know this happens all the time, but I am about 1 or 2 months away from finishing a script that has the EXACT SAME CONCEPT as another project that was announced in the trades. I am very proud of this script and feel it is the best thing I have written. But I can already hear the rebuttals, and I don't want to waste my time working on something that seems to be dead out of the gate. What would you guys do?

      Wow, thanks for all the advice everyone. And no way would I read the other script. I'm also avoiding any further announcements about the other project.

      Thanks. I worry as its literally the same true story concept. Verbatim. And there are high profile folks attached to it. But I will finish it anyway because I love it.
