My short horror story The Lake Erie Siren will appear this June in the Spring 2019 edition of Mad Scientist Journal.

Hey Hive Mind. I'm doing some research and I'm looking for your favorite movies where two or more lovable lugs go on the run from the mob, the government, other baddies after they either a) unknowingly fuck something up get embroiled in a plot unwittingly or c) steal from said bad guys or government... What are some of your favorite "on the run" movies? Thanks--MP

Is this site going under? Just read that the news part of TB is getting shuttered?

Is there a reason both Paddington movies are released in early January stateside and miss the Oscar cut-off? These movies are amazing (I see Paddington 1 wasn't even nominated in the animation category).

Hey guys, new TB Red here to say hello. I took things over late last month, and am still getting up to speed on things and just wanted to say hello. Unfortunately, I'm also doing so with a spot of bad news - it seems IP Board, who hosts the forum has officially done away with the Chat feature. We're exploring alternatives, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up as soon as I had confirmation from them. Otherwise, I'm still getting used to everything, and looking forward to gettin...

Can you recommend any scripts where a guy is alienated from his daughter/wife/ex-wife/family/co-workers and somehow connects or reconnects with them through the course of the story?

Anyone have have the Blue Jay "script" by Duplass?

Walking dead screenplay pdf? Want to see how many pages it is with all the action and commercials for an hour long show.

I know everyone is different and everyone has their go-to coverage analyst, but I really wanted to show some love for www.scriptexaminer.com. I have used everyone from Black List to TB and several independents and Ashish coverage is THE best out there for the money. My last round of coverage resulted in 3 thorough pages of notes and I can't say it wasn't his suggestions that got my script in the shape it needed to be in to land me a manager. Just a friendly tip to those in need.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to say goodbye of sorts, perhaps not forever. In a few days, I won't be renewing my TB subscription. I want to say thanks again to all the terrific members here and the happy sharing. Perhaps in a few months, I'll join back in. My Kindle is going to be hungry, I know... If anyone wants my email address, drop me a message in the next few days.

I'm really enjoying the Off-Screen Podcast. Two intelligent guys summarizing & reviewing some of the most notable spec scripts that have sold in recent years. http://www.ospodcast.com

Does anyone have a recommendation for a great evening/weekend screenwriting class (film or TV) in LA or NYC that has you finish a draft of something by the end of it?

So I ended up winning best comedy feature at Austin. I'm still trying to process the whole experience, but I can't say enough good things about the festival!

I'm in the Austin semifinals with a comedy. Hoping for the best and good luck to anyone else in the Austin!

My sister got the job on Twin Peaks! It's a dream job for her, since we've been huge David Lynch fans since we were young.

Does Safety Not Guaranteed receive the same level of interest if it wasn't loosely inspired by a real classified ad? Just curious...

One of the first scripts I ever tackled was an adaptation of Ocarina of Time. Netflix, give me the job.

2014 Hit List Recommendation: Remember by Benjamin August. It's slow and understated, but worth the journey.

Happy Holidays to one and all. Just like to say this consistently stays a great resource. Thanks to all the contributors - Hit List, Black List, FYC scripts, old scripts, spec scripts, TV scripts. Just great. Thank you. Now make sure you read some of the scripts instead of just having a million of them. So much to learn. Never give up on your writing dreams. Never ever.
