There are plenty of internships for coverage, but you'll probably be asked to provide a sample. Check the library or just google to find some coverage templates. Some prodcos have custom templates -- totally depends on what they're looking for. I've covered graphic novels and stage plays as well as features and pilots. Check out Julie Gray's coverage class, too.

  2. Last day at work before embarking warily on a career as a full-time writer. Tomorrow is, literally, the first day of the rest of my life.

  4. Posted this in the Looking For section, but just for the hell of it, anybody got coverage on "Last Witness" by Stefan Jaworski? Was on the 2011 Black List, but I can't find any reviews of it anywhere online.

Looks like there's a few up on Mediafire. Just search Last Witness Stefan Jaworski pdf on google. It'll populate. Good luck.

  5. Anybody know if there's a way to change the way Final Draft formats its elements when using Script Compare? i.e. if I only wanted it to show me what's new and not what was removed? And/or if I wanted to change the colors it uses?

  6. Saw "Martha Marcy May Marlene." Severly underwhelmed given the buzz around it. Anyone else see it/think otherwise?

Is it this year's Winter's Bone or Animal Kingdom? You know, way OVERHYPED?

Well, I loved "Winter's Bone", so I'd have to disagree... But it is your pretty standard Sundance flick: weird and unsettling, short on plot, and culminating in an ambiguous and unsatisfying ending.
